Believe it or not, Christina Aguilera is now 40 years old and she marked the special day by penning a powerful message about ageing and the stigma that surrounds this natural process.

‘Dear 40, What a beautiful concept… to not only be ‘turning’ 40, but to be ARRIVING at 40! This ever present social stigma exists around getting older, but I’ve ALWAYS embraced it! I’m forever an old soul and I appreciate all the wisdom, grace and beauty which comes with each new year of life,’ she started her message by saying.

Christina noted that 2020 has been a ‘whirlwind of a year’ and stressed that it’s time to make some hard, but necessary choices!

‘I’ve heard it said that some of your best life is lived in your 40’s. You stop giving a f*ck about all the bulls*it… clarity comes over you, a new intention sets in with every single move you make. I think that the best is yet to come and I’m READY for it.’
