You might remember that Anna Kendrick was part of the Twilight cast back in 2008 and that was also her acting debut! However, as it turns out, even though the movie was immensely successful, the actress did not have a good experience at all!
While talking about it during an interview for Vanity Fair, Kendrick revealed that looking back, it was rather traumatic and compared it to ‘surviving a hostage situation.’
At first, Anna was certain she would not end up getting cast in the first movie of the franchise but when it turned out that she did get the part, she realized it would’ve been better if she didn’t!
While it may sound like she had a miserable time because of the team and cast, that is not the case since she explained it was like a traumatic ‘bonding event’ for them since they all went through the same ‘hostage’-like experience.
Apparently, one of the main reasons was the rainy weather!
She recalled that ‘The first movie we shot in Portland, Oregon, and I remember being so cold and so miserable. And I remember my Converse being completely soaked and feeling like, ‘You know, this is a great group of people and I am sure we would be friends at a different time, but I want to murder everyone.’’
Anna went on to say that even though that was the case ‘it was also kind of like bonding. There was something about it, like if you go through some trauma event. Like you imagine people who survive a hostage situation, and you’re kind of bonded for life.’
The actress mentioned that the movies that followed were not as hard to bear shooting for since the weather was much better for some reason.

As for her role, since it was a minor one, she joked that her days on set pretty much blended into one another since all her lines had to do with how pale the vampires were and how peculiar it was that they seemed to never eat anything.
